KULR and Hylio Collaborate on NDAA-Compliant Drone Battery Systems in Texas
KULR Technology Group and Hylio are partnering to develop NDAA-compliant battery systems for unmanned agricultural drones. The collaboration will focus on U.S.-based design and manufacturing in Texas, aiming to enhance domestic supply chains and meet increasing demands for regulatory-compliant components in the drone sector, projected to grow significantly by 2032.

KULR Technology Group has formed a Joint Development Collaboration with Hylio to create NDAA-compliant battery systems for unmanned agricultural drones. The collaboration, based in Texas, aims to design, prototype, and manufacture high-performance battery architectures for Hylio's UAS platforms.
The global agricultural drone market is expected to grow from $4.08 billion in 2026 to $8.65 billion by 2032. The partnership seeks to address the rising demand for domestically produced, compliant components while enhancing performance for agricultural and defense applications. Engineering and manufacturing will be executed in Texas.
