NATURAL GAS

Kunlun Energy has appointed He Yongli as the new CEO, effective immediately, following the resignation of Qian Zhijia. This leadership change aligns with the start of China's new Five-Year Plan and aims to strengthen ties with its parent company, PetroChina.

He Yongli, who has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has been with Kunlun Energy since 2012, also serves as General Manager of PetroChina Natural Gas Marketing Company. The company is focusing on enhancing its infrastructure for liquefied natural gas (LNG) and optimizing pipeline networks, in line with the goals set forth in the 15th Five-Year Plan.

Key projects include the Fujian LNG initiative and expanding storage capacities at the Jiangsu terminal. The audited financial results for 2025 are expected to be released by the end of March 2026, which will be crucial for assessing market performance under the new leadership.
