Kva Launches AI-Focused Venture Studio and Calls for National AI Strategy in Europe
Kva has launched a venture studio dedicated to artificial intelligence, investing in startups across various sectors, including fintech and deep tech for defense. The studio's projects, such as MadarAi and NewJee, aim to streamline venture capital processes and combat misinformation, respectively. Kva emphasizes the need for a national AI strategy in Europe to enhance innovation and reduce dependency on foreign technology, while also partnering with Its Academy to train future AI specialists.

Kva is establishing a venture studio focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and continues to invest in selected startups in fintech, finance, martech, and deep tech AI, particularly in defense and intelligence applications. Operational projects include MadarAi, which automates venture capital processes, reducing manual analyst work by 70%, and NewJee, an AI-driven research project in Turin that analyzes news structures to combat misinformation.
Kva plans to launch two new venture studios by 2028, aimed at developing AI-native marketing technologies and proprietary software for rapid global scaling. Bottino highlights the need for a national AI strategy in Europe to address structural issues, such as reliance on foreign technology and insufficient reinvestment in innovation. Kva has partnered with Its Academy in Piedmont to train AI specialists, emphasizing the importance of equipping youth with necessary skills to avoid exclusion from the job market.
