The Nanospace Research Center near Bishkek is scaling up its production of unmanned systems under private funding, having received support from President Sadyr Japarov. The center has acquired a license for manufacturing military-grade drones, producing FPV drones, reconnaissance drones, and robotic ground systems.
It has developed the SAARA-02 long-range reconnaissance drone, which was utilized during the 2021 border clashes. Nanospace is also working on combat vehicles for special forces and aims to train students in robotics by autumn.
