L3Harris Secures $9.6 Million Contract for RF Amplifiers for U.S. Navy F/A-18 Combat Jets
L3Harris Technologies Inc. has received a $9.6 million contract from the U.S. Navy to supply 74 radio frequency amplifiers for F/A-18E/F and EA-18G combat aircraft. The contract, announced by the Naval Supply Systems Command, will leverage L3Harris's expertise in airborne electronic warfare systems, with production taking place at their Clifton, N.J. facility and expected completion by April 2027.

L3Harris Technologies Inc. has been awarded a $9.6 million contract by the U.S. Navy for 74 radio frequency (RF) amplifiers used in F/A-18E/F and EA-18G combat aircraft. The contract, announced by the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support activity, will utilize L3Harris's capabilities in airborne electronic warfare (EW) systems.
L3Harris's Clifton, N.J. facility produces the AN/ALQ-214 Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (IDECM) system, which enhances protection against RF threats. The contract work is expected to be completed by April 2027.
