L3Harris to Supply 34 T7 Robots for US Navy and Marine Corps EOD Operations
L3Harris Technologies has secured a contract to supply 34 T7 robotic systems to the US Navy and Marine Corps for explosive ordnance disposal operations, with deliveries commencing this year. The T7 robots, which weigh 710 pounds and can operate for over eight hours, are designed for various missions, including hazardous materials response and surveillance, and follow a previous order for over 100 units by the US Air Force.

L3Harris Technologies has contracted to deliver 34 T7 robotic systems to the US Navy and Marine Corps for explosive ordnance disposal operations. Deliveries will start this year, and L3Harris will provide training for operators.
The T7 robots, weighing 710 pounds and powered by twelve BB-2590 batteries, can operate for over eight hours and reach speeds of 4.5 miles per hour. They support various missions, including hazardous materials response and surveillance. The T7 follows a previous order for over 100 robots by the US Air Force and is also used by the Australian Defence Force and UK Ministry of Defence.
