The La Guaira government has announced a project to construct a university complex that will house over 20 higher education institutions, aimed at expanding academic offerings in science and technology. The initiative, which requires an investment of $8 million and will create 400 direct jobs, is expected to be completed in 10 to 12 months.
The facility will include 46 classrooms and six laboratories, with a capacity for 1,948 students per shift. Specialties will include Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Data Science, addressing the educational needs of approximately 18,000 high school graduates annually. The complex will optimize resources and enhance training opportunities while maintaining the academic identities of the institutions involved.
