Lagos First Lady Advocates Support for Boy Child through Initiative
Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, wife of the Lagos State Governor, launched the Lagos Boy Child Initiative, advocating for support and education for boys. The initiative, involving 600 boys from various schools, aims to address the educational needs and societal perceptions of male children. The program includes mentorship and awareness of boys' rights to education. Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Suleh of the Nigerian Air Force pledged support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of moral upbringing and mentorship for boys.
