Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, wife of the Lagos State Governor, initiated the Lagos Boy Child Initiative to advocate for support and education for boys. The program, involving 600 boys from public and private schools, began with an excursion that included a visit to the Nigerian Air Force Logistics Command.

Sanwo-Olu highlighted the need for balanced advocacy for boys, emphasizing their right to education and the importance of mentorship. Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Suleh supported the initiative, stressing that moral guidance should start early to prevent future societal issues. The event included educational activities at the Air Force base.
