Lancaster Soldier Lance Corporal McCauley Trains with French Army at CENZUB
Lance Corporal Amelia McCauley and 120 personnel from 1 LANCS deployed to CENZUB, France, for Exercise Gaulish. The exercise aimed to enhance interoperability with the French 152nd Infantry Regiment. McCauley, promoted to Lance Corporal in January, reflects on her rapid military career and personal growth since joining the Army. She has deployed to various countries, including Cyprus, Estonia, and Bosnia, and will participate in a training exercise in Kenya this summer.

Lance Corporal Amelia 'Milly' McCauley, part of 1st Battalion, The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, deployed with 120 personnel to CENZUB, France, in February for Exercise Gaulish with the French 152nd Infantry Regiment. The exercise focused on enhancing operational cooperation.
McCauley, promoted to Lance Corporal in January, has previously served in Cyprus, Estonia, and Bosnia. She noted significant personal growth and independence since joining the Army at 16. McCauley will further develop her skills during a summer deployment at the British Army Training Unit Kenya.
