LandBridge and PowerBridge Partner on 2GW Data Center Campus in Texas
LandBridge has formed a lease agreement with PowerBridge for a 2GW data center campus in Reeves County, Texas, targeting a 2027 power delivery date. The development, known as the Alpha Digital Campus, aims to integrate data center infrastructure with co-located power generation, tapping into the Permian Basin's energy resources.

LandBridge and PowerBridge have entered a lease development agreement to create a 2GW data center campus in Reeves County, Texas, known as the Alpha Digital Campus. This agreement allows PowerBridge to lease approximately 3,400 acres and is set to deliver its first power in 2027, with full-scale generation expected by 2028.
The project capitalizes on West Texas's abundant natural gas and land availability, aiming to meet rising demand from AI and cloud computing sectors. LandBridge's extensive land portfolio could potentially support up to 18GW of data center capacity, generating significant long-term revenue. However, risks include regulatory delays and commodity price fluctuations, especially concerning natural gas.
