Larus Secures $8.3M Contract from Canada's Department of National Defence for AI Tactical Intelligence
Larus Technologies has been awarded an $8.3 million IDEaS Test Drive contract by the Department of National Defence to enhance AI and machine learning in tactical planning. The MAABI platform will help the Canadian Armed Forces predict adversary behavior and improve decision-making efficiency. The project aims to automate data analysis and provide actionable insights for military leaders, with testing planned in upcoming Canadian and Allied exercises.

Larus Technologies has received an $8.3 million IDEaS Test Drive contract from the Department of National Defence to advance AI and machine learning capabilities in tactical planning. The MAABI platform, which stands for Multi-Domain Adversarial Behaviour Modeling using Retroactive Analytics and Activity-Based Intelligence, is designed to improve operational decision-making by automating complex data analysis and generating predictive insights.
The platform will be tested in upcoming military exercises with the Canadian Army. Larus has also engaged in training exercises to integrate MAABI into operational processes, aiming to enhance productivity and decision reliability for military leaders.
