Lasarus Inspects Border Road Construction in East Kalimantan to Ensure Project Continuity
Lasarus, Chairman of Commission V, inspected the construction of a road parallel to the West and East Kalimantan border. Accompanied by local officials, he emphasized the importance of completing the project for national security and regional welfare, highlighting a budget of IDR 139.8 billion for the current year to connect six kilometers of road. He addressed challenges like landslides and stressed the need for immediate action to protect public access.

Lasarus, Chairman of Commission V of the House of Representatives, inspected the road construction along the border of West Kalimantan and East Kalimantan in Kapuas Hulu Regency. Accompanied by local officials, he confirmed that ongoing national strategic projects from President Joko Widodo's administration will proceed.
A budget of IDR 139.8 billion is allocated to connect six kilometers of road, with an additional 28 kilometers remaining. Lasarus highlighted the road's strategic importance for defense, security, and regional welfare and noted challenges such as landslides. He urged immediate action to address vulnerable points along the route.
