Laser Photonics Unveils CleanTech® Laser Blasting at WM Symposia for Nuclear Decontamination
Laser Photonics Corporation attended the WM Symposia in Phoenix, AZ, to showcase its CleanTech® laser cleaning system. In collaboration with Brokk, they presented a laser-cleaning robot aimed at remote nuclear decontamination. The CleanTech® system is designed to replace abrasive sandblasting, minimizing secondary waste and disposal costs by vaporizing surface contaminants.

Laser Photonics Corporation participated in the Waste Management Symposia in Phoenix, Arizona, to present its CleanTech® laser cleaning blaster, developed for a major nuclear power plant. The system, in partnership with Brokk, aims to replace traditional sandblasting methods that produce considerable secondary waste.
The CleanTech® process vaporizes contaminants at the treatment site, reducing waste volume and associated disposal costs. The unit includes features for fume extraction and airborne debris capture to enhance safety during operations.
