Latvia and Norway Aim for Enhanced Defense Cooperation in Drone Technology
Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze expressed the desire to strengthen defense collaboration with Norway, particularly in drone technology, during her visit to Oslo. The first Latvian-Norwegian Drone Forum was held, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in military capabilities and supply chain security. Latvia is set to receive 50% more funding from the European Commission and the European Defense Fund in 2025 compared to 2024, highlighting its growing defense industry. Braze also discussed potential partnerships in construction and infrastructure sectors.
