Latvia Signs Full-Cycle Maintenance Contract with Patria for 6x6 Armored Vehicles
The Latvian Ministry of Defence signed a contract with Patria for the full-cycle maintenance of 6x6 armored personnel carriers. This agreement enhances Latvia's defense capabilities by integrating local industry with Patria's experience. It follows a 2024 lifecycle management agreement involving Latvia, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark. The contract ensures operational readiness and supports infrastructure development for domestic specialists. Additionally, Lockheed Martin delivered a radar system for Japan's Aegis System Equipped Vessels.

On March 12, Latvia's Ministry of Defence signed a contract with Patria for the full-cycle maintenance of its 6x6 armored personnel carriers, enhancing defense capabilities alongside local industry. This agreement builds on a 2024 lifecycle management contract involving Latvia, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark.
It aims to ensure the operational readiness of the vehicles and develop local maintenance capacity. Separately, Lockheed Martin delivered the second shipset of the AN/SPY-7 radar system for Japan's Aegis System Equipped Vessels, which are set to be commissioned in 2027 and 2028.
