Launch of TAE500 RISC-V CPU IP Core for Automotive Applications
T2M has introduced the TAE500, a 32-bit RISC-V CPU IP core aimed at enhancing automotive and industrial SoC development. The core meets ISO 26262 and ASIL-B safety standards, facilitating the creation of reliable embedded systems while minimizing reliance on proprietary architectures.

T2M's TAE500 RISC-V CPU IP core is engineered for automotive, robotics, industrial control, and high-speed storage applications, providing a significant reduction in development complexity. This core meets ISO 26262 and ASIL-B requirements, featuring a 6-stage superscalar pipeline with performance metrics of 5.79 CoreMark/MHz and 2.55 DMIPS/MHz.
It supports a robust development ecosystem, including toolchains, IDE, and technical support. The introduction of TAE500 expands T2M's RISC-V portfolio, which includes over 20 IP cores designed for various applications, including safety-critical systems. The shift toward RISC-V architecture may impact market dynamics, as companies seek more flexible alternatives to proprietary solutions.
