Leadership Development Program Enhances Military Perspective at AFRICOM
Sixty-four military and civilian personnel are participating in a 10-month Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP) to gain insights into military operations. The program, executed by DCPAS, aims to enhance leadership capabilities and understanding of the total force mission.

The Executive Leadership Development Program (ELDP), involving 64 personnel, is designed for GS-12 to GS-14 levels and emphasizes physical and intellectual challenges. Participants engage with military leaders and personnel at various locations, including a recent visit to U.S.
Africa Command in Stuttgart, Germany, on April 30, 2026. This immersive experience aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the military's global mission, with a focus on leadership development.
The program also includes opportunities for participants to visit additional military sites globally. The insights gained are expected to enhance their contributions to their home organizations and the broader defense enterprise.
