DEFENSE

Legana's shopping precinct is set for a $20 million overhaul, including a $10 million refit of Woolworths and new retail spaces. A cylindrical childcare center and a commercial building with European and Indian restaurants are near completion.

A new three-tenancy development at 9 Tatana Way will feature Salvation Army, which is expanding from 230 to 410 square meters, alongside a chiropractor and Harcourts, which is increasing its space. Construction is expected to begin in February 2026, with completion aimed for before Christmas.

Additional improvements will include leveled car parks, undercover walkways, and new retail spaces, enhancing pedestrian access. The development aims to create job opportunities and bolster the local economy.
