LightPath Technologies Inc. has signed a $9.6 million contract to supply cooled infrared cameras for defense and security efforts. The cameras include built-in coolers to minimize thermal signatures while maintaining imaging performance.

Production will take place in Florida and New Hampshire, with shipments expected through 2026. This order reflects growing demand for LightPath's advanced camera systems. The contract follows the acquisition of G5 Infrared, enhancing LightPath's thermal imaging portfolio. G5, founded in 2011, reported $15 million in profits for fiscal 2024, supported by multiple long-term contracts.
