Lima EW System Neutralizes 26 Kinzhal Missiles in 2026
The Lima Electronic Warfare system has successfully diverted 26 Russian Kinzhal missiles in the first quarter of 2026, bringing the total neutralized to 58. This capability enhances Ukraine's defense against aerial threats, highlighting the importance of advanced EW technologies in modern warfare.

In the first three months of 2026, the Lima Electronic Warfare (EW) system has neutralized 26 Russian Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, raising the cumulative total to 58 since its deployment. Additionally, it has deflected 33 cruise missiles and over 10,000 UAVs, maintaining over 98% effectiveness against guided aerial bombs (KABs) within its operational zones.
The system integrates into Ukraine's air defense framework, enhancing protection against aerial threats that breach initial defenses. Its unique capabilities allow for the disruption of enemy satellite navigation, significantly improving the defense strategy by reducing reliance on kinetic interceptions. This shift in defense economics presents an asymmetric advantage in ongoing conflicts.
