LionLink Engages Suffolk Schools in Clean Energy Education
LionLink, developed by National Grid Ventures, conducted educational activities in Suffolk schools, reaching 355 students. The initiative, part of British Science Week, aims to enhance understanding of renewable energy technologies, particularly the hybrid interconnector project linking Great Britain and the Netherlands.

National Grid Ventures' LionLink initiative completed educational sessions in Suffolk for 355 primary school pupils, demonstrating the workings of renewable energy systems. Activities included hands-on experiments on wind energy, energy control linked to LionLink's converter stations, solar energy interactions, and subsea interconnection.
The 40-minute STEM show, 'Currents Unseen,' was co-hosted with Mad Science, featuring dynamic presentations to explain renewable energy principles. This outreach supports broader awareness of clean energy solutions and engages future generations in energy science, essential for transitioning to sustainable energy sources.
