The Lithuanian Armed Forces has acquired 155 mm HE L15A1 artillery shells from KNDS Ammo Italy S.p.A. for around EUR 3.6 million. This acquisition supports the Ministry of National Defence's strategy to strengthen national defense capabilities by increasing ammunition supplies.

The shells will be utilized with the 155 mm PzH 2000 artillery systems and are designed for destroying battlefield targets, including light fortifications and enemy fire positions. They will also be used in combat readiness training.
