LML Products Ltd intends to enhance security at its manufacturing facility in Calne by erecting an eight-foot palisade-style fence to replace the existing six-foot fence. The company, located on the Beversbrook Industrial Estate, has been in operation since 1968 and produces high-current components for sectors including rail, defence, power generation, medical, and electric vehicles.

Wiltshire Council is expected to make a decision regarding the fence proposal in April. Recently, LML Products was recognized for over a decade of service to the British Army's Ajax armoured vehicle program.
