LNG Terminal Brunsbüttel Construction Progresses with 3,000 Piles Installed
The LNG terminal in Brunsbüttel is under construction, featuring two 50-meter high tanks founded on nearly 3,000 piles. A total of 10,000 foundation piles have been installed for the entire project, which is currently the largest construction site in the Brunsbüttel industrial area.

Construction of the LNG terminal in Brunsbüttel is advancing, with two 50-meter high tanks, each 80 meters in diameter, being built. The tank covers are scheduled for installation in early summer. Each tank is supported by nearly 3,000 piles, and a total of 10,000 foundation piles have been driven into the marsh soil for all structures. Over 300 workers from a Spanish general contractor are on site, making this the largest construction project in the Brunsbüttel industrial area.
