LNG Terminal Brunsbüttel Construction Progresses with 3,000 Piles Installed
NATURAL GAS
Construction of the LNG terminal in Brunsbüttel is advancing, with two 50-meter high tanks, each 80 meters in diameter, being built. The tank covers are scheduled for installation in early summer. Each tank is supported by nearly 3,000 piles, and a total of 10,000 foundation piles have been driven into the marsh soil for all structures. Over 300 workers from a Spanish general contractor are on site, making this the largest construction project in the Brunsbüttel industrial area.
