Lockheed Martin's Vice-President William Blair described PM Modi's US visit from June 20-25 as historic, stating it will enhance India-US relations, particularly in defense and aerospace. The company has exported nearly USD 650 million worth of defense products from India to the US, with two joint ventures with TATA.
During the visit, Modi addressed Congress and participated in a 'Hi-tech Handshake' event with US CEOs including Microsoft and Google leaders. World Bank Executive Director Parameswaran Iyer and NYC Deputy Commissioner Dilip Chauhan highlighted the visit's success and its impact on economic engagement and investments between the two nations.
