Lockheed Martin Expands PAC-3 MSE Production with Spanish Firms Tecnobit and Sener
Lockheed Martin has contracted Spanish firms Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía and Sener to establish production lines for PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) components. Tecnobit will produce specialized cables and harnesses, while Sener will manufacture actuators.
These initiatives aim to enhance local industrial capabilities and supply chain resilience. The US Army awarded Lockheed a contract in November 2024 to increase annual production to 650 interceptors and a $9.8 billion contract in September 2025 for nearly 1,970 interceptors. A seven-year framework agreement signed in January 2026 plans to raise annual output from 600 to approximately 2,000 missiles by the end of the decade.
