Lockheed Martin Reports Q4 Revenue Increase and Expands THAAD Missile Production Capacity

DEFENSE

Lockheed Martin reported a 9% increase in fourth-quarter revenue to $20.3 billion, surpassing Wall Street expectations of $19.9 billion. The company has signed an agreement with the Department of War to increase annual production of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) interceptors from 96 to 400 units.

This production ramp-up will be supported by a new Munitions Acceleration Center in Camden, Arkansas, with an initial contract award expected after the 2026 Congressional appropriations. Lockheed anticipates continued growth, projecting a 5% increase in sales and a 25% rise in operating profit by 2026.

The company also announced a profit-sharing agreement with the U.S. government linked to increased production of THAAD and Patriot missile systems. Despite a 6% pre-market stock increase, retail sentiment on Stocktwits remained bearish.
