Lucknow Development Authority Commences Phase III of Green Corridor Construction
The Lucknow Development Authority has begun construction on the third phase of the Green Corridor, a 5 km project connecting Pipraghat and Shaheed Path. This phase includes the construction of a 240-meter railway overbridge and the widening of Dilkusha Road to accommodate increased traffic. The project is set to commence within a week, with ongoing landfilling operations and provisions for affected farmers under the land pooling policy.

The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has initiated construction on the third phase of the Green Corridor, approximately 5 km long, between Pipraghat and Shaheed Path. A railway overbridge (ROB) measuring 240 meters in length and 12 meters in width will be built at the Pipraghat railway crossing following a no-objection certificate from the Cantonment Board.
Dilkusha Road will be widened from 9 meters to accommodate increased traffic. A four-lane bridge from Pipraghat to the G-20 Road will also be constructed. An agency has been selected to execute the project, with work expected to commence within a week.
Landfilling operations are ongoing along a 2.8-km stretch from Pipraghat to Army land drain and a 2.5-km stretch to Shaheed Path. LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar has mandated that landfilling be completed before the monsoon, followed by stone pitching for embankment stability. Affected farmers will receive land in Wellness City under LDA's land pooling policy.
