Mack Anderson Secures U.S. Patent for Multi-Function Emergency Power Devices

DEFENSE

Mack Anderson from Orange, Texas, received U.S. patent approval for his multi-function emergency power devices in October 2024. This development followed nearly a decade of effort, starting with his patent application seven years prior and initial concept creation during his Army tour in Afghanistan.

The devices integrate solar charging, hand-crank power, wall charging, and LED lighting to aid users during power outages and natural disasters. Two of Anderson's products are currently available online through Walmart, with positive customer feedback on their portability and versatility. Anderson aims to collaborate with local leaders in Southeast Texas to enhance community preparedness for disasters.
