Macnica Americas Appoints Nestor Amaya as Vice President of Engineering
Macnica Americas has appointed Nestor Amaya as Vice President of Engineering to enhance its engineering leadership. His extensive experience in infrastructure and embedded technologies is expected to benefit key sectors such as automotive, AIoT, and broadcast systems.

Nestor Amaya has been appointed Vice President of Engineering at Macnica Americas, leveraging over 25 years of expertise in infrastructure and embedded technologies. Reporting to Sebastien Dignard, CEO of Macnica Atlantic Region, Amaya will oversee product strategy and engineering across automotive, AIoT, broadcast, medical, and robotics markets.
Amaya previously founded Coveloz Technologies, specializing in FPGAs and system-on-chip platforms, which was acquired by Ross Video. His appointment is significant as Macnica deepens its component-to-solution strategy in critical verticals, aiming to reduce design times and costs for clients. The integration of his technical background may enhance competitive positioning in the rapidly evolving broadcast and ProAV sectors.
