Mantasia Secures Approval for 100MW Green Hydrogen Project in Central Greece
Mantasia, a partnership between YAMKO Energy and ILOS, has received regulatory approvals for a 100MW green hydrogen project in central Greece. The project, initially planned for 50MW, aims to supply carbon-free hydrogen to industrial users and heavy transport. Following approvals, it will move to technical optimization and financial structuring.

Mantasia, a joint venture between YAMKO Energy and ILOS, has secured a Production Certificate and Environmental Impact Assessment approval for its 100MW green hydrogen project in central Greece. Originally planned at 50MW, the project has been expanded to support the early development of hydrogen infrastructure in Europe.
The facility will utilize solar energy to supply low-carbon hydrogen to industrial and transportation sectors. With permitting secured, the project will proceed to technical optimization and financial structuring, critical phases that often determine project viability. The Greek government established a hydrogen regulatory framework in July 2025, facilitating future hydrogen production projects.
