Marine Depot Maintenance Command Partners with MadeHere K.K for Advanced Manufacturing in Indo-Pacific
The U.S. Marine Corps' Marine Depot Maintenance Command has partnered with MadeHere K.K to enhance advanced manufacturing capabilities in the Indo-Pacific region. This collaboration aims to tackle obsolescence and long-lead part challenges, improving operational readiness and supply chain resilience while supporting the U.S. Navy's Trident Warrior 2025 exercise. The agreement facilitates co-production of critical components and promotes workforce development between the Japanese industrial base and U.S. military operations.

The U.S. Marine Corps' Marine Depot Maintenance Command (MDMC) has formed a Public-Private Partnership with MadeHere K.K to enhance advanced manufacturing and sustainment capabilities for Marine Corps operations in the Indo-Pacific region.
This collaboration aims to address obsolescence and long-lead part challenges through innovative manufacturing solutions, thus improving operational readiness and supply chain resilience. MDMC will provide manufacturing, engineering, and depot-level support services to MadeHere K.K, enabling the co-production of critical components.
The partnership aligns with 10 U.S.C. § 2474 and supports the U.S. Navy's Trident Warrior 2025 exercise, demonstrating connectivity between the Japanese industrial base and U.S. military operations. The agreement facilitates access to MDMC's infrastructure and expertise, while also promoting workforce development and skill retention.
