Marks & Spencer to Open Convenience Store in Bradford on Canal Road
HYDROGENSYNTHETIC FUELS
Marks & Spencer will open a convenience store on Canal Road in Bradford, following the closure of its previous store in the Broadway shopping centre in 2024. The new store will be part of a redevelopment of the former Stanley Cars site, which will also include a petrol filling station operated by BP, EV charging bays, and hydrogen refuelling bays for heavy goods vehicles.
The convenience store will cover 421 square meters and feature a Wild Bean Café. An advertising consent application for a monolith sign has been submitted, with a decision expected in March. The development is described as a modern roadside service on a major route through Bradford.
