Marshall Municipal Utilities Board Approves Common Facilities Agreement for Energy Center

The Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works approved a Common Facilities Agreement with the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission for the Marshall Energy Center project. The agreement covers switchgear, diesel tanks, and access to facilities, and requires City Council authorization on February 17.

The board also approved a $6,494 change order for the heating boiler replacement at the Recycle Center, adding nearly $11,000 to the original bid. A $66,000 repair for the MMU Natural Gas line was also approved. The next board meeting is set for February 25.
