Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Denmark's Ambassador to the U.S., Jesper Møller Sørensen, signed an economic partnership agreement focused on enhancing scientific and commercial collaboration in life sciences, robotics, and artificial intelligence. This agreement aims to strengthen research and business cooperation between the two regions, recognizing their shared commitment to innovation.
Economic Development Secretary Eric Paley highlighted Denmark's status as one of Massachusetts' top trading partners and emphasized the framework's potential to deepen collaboration among companies and research institutions. The signing event included leaders from major Danish companies and was organized by the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment and the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science.
