Medco Energi Divests 926.3 Million Shares of Exspan Petrogas to Subsidiary for IDR 24.18 Billion
PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) has sold its entire stake in PT Exspan Petrogas Intranusa (EPI) to its subsidiary, PT Medco LNG Indonesia (MLI), for IDR 24,177,600,000. The transaction involved 926,331,662 shares, representing 99.99% of EPI's capital, and was formalized on December 26, 2025.
Both EPI and MLI are wholly owned subsidiaries of MEDC, operating in oil and gas support services, with EPI's assets totaling USD 11.6 million and MLI's assets at USD 333.6 million as of September 2025. The transaction qualifies as an affiliated transaction under OJK Regulation No 42/POJK.04/2020 and is not expected to materially affect MEDC's operations or financial status. Following the announcement, MEDC shares decreased by 0.74% to IDR 1,345.
