Merchant Navy Engineer Donates Rs 2 Lakh for Lakpur Village Development
Sukhwinder Singh Saini has donated Rs 2 lakh for infrastructure improvements in Lakpur village, earmarking funds for key facilities. This initiative highlights the role of individual contributions in rural development and community enhancement.

Sukhwinder Singh Saini, a mechanical engineer in the Merchant Navy, has donated Rs 2 lakh toward the development of Lakpur village. Of this amount, Rs 1.50 lakh will enhance the cremation ground, while Rs 50,000 is allocated for the Mehru Patti Dharamshala.
The donation was made in memory of his father, Gyan Singh Saini, and was presented to retired principal Jaswinder Singh Bangar, who is leading village improvement efforts with NRI support. This contribution underscores the potential of individual donations to drive rural infrastructure projects, encouraging further engagement from the community.
