MEVACO Invests €10M in New Defense Manufacturing Facility in Greece
MEVACO is investing approximately €10 million to construct a new 6,500 sq.m. industrial unit in Aspropyrgos, Greece, expected to complete by late 2027. This expansion aims to enhance production capacity and strengthen its position in the defense sector amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.

MEVACO is initiating a €10 million investment for a new standalone industrial facility in Aspropyrgos, Greece, set for completion by the end of 2027. Excavation works have begun following the issuance of the building permit in March 2026.
The investment, financed through company funds and external sources, is part of a strategic expansion in defense manufacturing. MEVACO's backlog with INTRACOM DEFENSE is approximately €18.04 million, and an agreement with NAVAL GROUP for BELHARRA frigates includes orders worth €4.38 million. The company aims to enhance its exports and pursue new international opportunities to improve profit margins amid global instability.
