Mexican Space Agency Promotes Youth Training to Develop National Space Industry
The Mexican Space Agency (AEM) highlights progress in developing a national space industry, with achievements from youth like Jonathan Sánchez Pérez, who received recognition from NASA for a project on Jupiter. Sánchez Pérez has completed courses in Russia on satellites and will participate in AEM outreach activities. Other young innovators include Juan Carlos Mariscal, who plans a commercial lunar launch in 2021, and three Oaxaca students who excelled in the Robotchallenge 2019 in Beijing.

The Mexican Space Agency (AEM) is advancing the development of a national space industry by promoting training among youth. Director Javier Mendieta Jiménez noted the achievements of Jonathan Sánchez Pérez, a student from Tultepec, who received recognition from NASA for a Jupiter project.
Sánchez Pérez has undertaken satellite training in Russia and aims for a master's in rocket launch systems. He will assist AEM in outreach initiatives. Additionally, Juan Carlos Mariscal is set for a commercial moon launch in 2021, and three Oaxaca students excelled in an international robotics competition.
