Mexico Aligns Productive Development Strategy with UN 2030 Agenda
Mexico's Ministry of Economy is integrating the UN 2030 Agenda into its productive development strategy, emphasizing sustainability as crucial for economic policy. Ismael Ortiz highlighted the agenda as a guiding framework for innovation, competitiveness, and social well-being, supported by Plan México and four core principles. Key initiatives include fiscal incentives for innovation, regional inclusion through wellbeing corridors, and the General Law of Circular Economy to enhance business resilience and resource efficiency.

The focus on regional strengths includes sectors like clean energy and medical devices, while also addressing gender inclusion in labor participation.
