Mia Robotics Develops Next-Gen Unmanned Ground Vehicles for Defense and Civilian Applications
Mia Dynamics has pivoted from micro-mobility to developing unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for defense, with over 50% of R&D focused on military applications post-October 7. Their new UGVs can carry heavy loads, navigate complex terrain, and operate for up to 12 hours. Collaborating with major defense firms, Mia Robotics aims to integrate mission-specific technologies into their platforms. The vehicles are already in use on battlefields and are also targeting civilian sectors including agriculture and security.

Mia Dynamics has transitioned from a micro-mobility company to a developer of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for defense, now focusing over 50% of its R&D on military applications. Following the October 7 Hamas attack, the firm identified a gap in ground-based unmanned capabilities.
Their UGVs, lightweight yet capable of carrying up to 225 kg, can navigate various terrains and operate for 8 to 12 hours. Collaborating with a major Israeli defense company, Mia Robotics is integrating technologies for battlefield use. The vehicles support logistics and reconnaissance and are also targeting civilian applications in agriculture and security.
