Michigan Gas Utilities will relocate a natural gas regulator station in LaSalle Township due to safety concerns. The new station will be designed and installed further from roadways. The LaSalle Township Planning Commission recently approved the special use and site plan for a 30-by-30-foot easement on agricultural land. The project is expected to be completed in the first half of the year.

Michigan Gas Utilities (MGU) will move a natural gas distribution regulator station in LaSalle Township to enhance safety and reliability. The current location has faced damage from vehicle crashes. The new station will be positioned further from local roadways and is expected to measure approximately 5 feet by 10 feet.
The LaSalle Township Planning Commission has approved the necessary permits for the relocation, which includes a 30-by-30-foot easement on agricultural property. Completion of the relocation project is anticipated in the first half of the year.
