Mind Robotics Secures $500 Million in Funding from Accel and Andreessen Horowitz
ROBOTICS
Mind Robotics has secured $500 million in Series A funding, co-led by Accel and Andreessen Horowitz, at a valuation of $2 billion. Founded by Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe, the company focuses on developing AI-powered industrial robots that can perform complex tasks requiring human-like dexterity.
This funding follows a prior $115 million seed round and supports the startup's ambition to create a full-stack robotics platform. Mind Robotics will utilize Rivian's engineering talent and production data, with plans to deploy its robots in Rivian's factories by year-end. The investment reflects growing interest in robotics amid labor shortages in manufacturing.
