Ministry of Defense Implements Advance Payments for Drone Manufacturers in DOT-Chain Defence
The Ministry of Defense has introduced an advance payment mechanism for drone manufacturers in the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace to enhance production capabilities. This initiative aims to address working capital constraints faced by manufacturers and expedite drone deliveries to combat units.

The DOT Defense Procurement Agency will now offer advance payments to drone manufacturers based on their fulfillment rates. Manufacturers with at least three months of continuous presence in the DOT-Chain Defence system can receive up to 70% of their payment in advance if they meet an average delivery time of 30 days or less; otherwise, they can receive up to 30%. This new payment structure is intended to incentivize faster production and delivery to meet the increasing demand from military units, potentially reducing order fulfillment delays.
