Mirai Robotics has secured $4.2 million in pre-seed funding to advance its development of autonomous vessels and AI systems for maritime operations. The funding round was led by Primo Ventures, Techshop, and 40Jemz Ventures, with participation from Italian and international angel investors.

The capital will be used to accelerate technology development, strengthen the team, and initiate pilot projects. Mirai Robotics focuses on integrating autonomous vehicles with advanced sensing and navigation technologies to address challenges in the maritime domain, including workforce shortages and high operational costs. Founded by Luciano Belviso, Luca Mascaro, and Davide Dattoli, the company operates from Puglia, Italy, aiming to establish a center of excellence in maritime autonomy.
