Miso Robotics acquired Zignyl, an AI-driven restaurant operations platform, marking its shift from a robotics focus to a comprehensive technology supplier. This aims to provide fast-food chains with a cohesive tech solution.

Miso offers Flippy, the automated fry cook, alongside Zignyl, allowing restaurants to monitor operations through a unified dashboard. Currently, over a dozen brands, including Jersey Mike's and Auntie Anne's, use Zignyl and Zippy.

Miso reports Flippy is operational in seven states with over 5 million baskets fried. Zignyl's team, led by CEO Matt Forbush, will integrate into Miso.
