Mithril Mining and Montana Tech Collaborate on Tungsten Exploration at Calvert Mine
Mithril Mining Corp. has initiated a two-year research collaboration with Montana Technological University to enhance tungsten exploration at the Calvert Mine, lasting until May 14, 2028. The program employs advanced geophysical surveys and modeling techniques to identify mineralization and drilling targets.

Mithril Mining Corp. is collaborating with Montana Technological University to advance tungsten exploration at the Calvert Mine in Beaverhead County. The two-year project, which will conclude on May 14, 2028, involves drone and ground-based geophysical surveys, borehole measurements, and 2D and 3D modeling.
Historical data indicates that the Calvert Mine produced over 217,000 tons of ore with an average of 1.10% tungsten trioxide. The partnership also aims to provide practical training for students in modern mineral exploration methodologies. This initiative is significant, given tungsten's critical role in various industries including defense and aerospace.
