The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Mahoning and Shenango Valleys Chapter convened on January 16 in Canfield to officially swear in new officers and Board of Directors for the 2026-28 term. The oath of office was administered by MOAA Ohio Council of Chapters president John Benedele Jr.

Incoming officers include president David DiTallo, vice president Joseph Mersol, treasurer Bruce Bille, and board members at large Ralph DeLucia and Stephen Motika. Secretary Albert Lind and board members Rod and Florence Hosler were absent. The meeting also featured a presentation by former Army veteran Anthony 'Stony' Smith on private security contractor operations in Iraq.
