Mobile District Utilizes Dredged Material for Port Expansion Project
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, is repurposing 496,900 tons of dredged material from the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway for the Port Authority's Phase 4 Terminal Expansion Project. This initiative not only aids in maintaining waterway navigation but also reduces costs and accelerates construction timelines for the Port.

The D33 Haul Out project by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, involves the beneficial reuse of 496,900 tons of dredged material to support the Alabama Port Authority's expansion efforts.
