Mohamad Hasan Arrives in Manila for 59th ASEAN Meetings
Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan is in Manila from July 20 to 23 for the 59th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting (AMM) and related events. Key discussions will focus on the West Asia crisis and the situation in Myanmar, including the implementation of the Five-Point Consensus.

Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport on July 20 at 4:15 PM local time. He will lead Malaysia's delegation during the 59th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting until July 23, addressing the ongoing crisis in West Asia and Myanmar's humanitarian situation.
Mohamad is scheduled to engage in consultations on the Five-Point Consensus regarding Myanmar and participate in various meetings, including the ASEAN Plus Three Foreign Ministers' Meeting and the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone Commission. Additionally, he will co-chair the Post Ministerial Conference with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and hold bilateral discussions with counterparts. The meetings are held under the Philippines' ASEAN Chairmanship for 2026.
